As the vaccines continue to roll out around the world and we inch closer to some semblance of normal life, one thing that has undoubtedly kept many of us sane is the return of many of our favorite sporting leagues. Although Zoom-fatigue is a real and widespread thing, online gatherings don't always have to be synonymous with work meetings. Enter the virtual watch party!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1) Enthusiastic friends and family
Pick a sporting event and spread the word. Team jerseys, (friendly) trash talking, vuvuzelas and facepaint are highly encouraged!
2) Plan the logistics
Get the group chat going and make sure everyone knows what platform the partying will take place on. Send the invite and remind everyone to mark their calendars and check their internet connection.
