He ran every day for four years, he is HellahGood!

His name is Hellah Sidibe and he is from Mali, West Africa.
Sidibe played college soccer at the University of Massachusetts and running was the most difficult part for him. So, one day in 2017, he decided to start a challenge that was originally planned to last a year.
Sidibe started running every day no matter the location, the weather, his mood or the pain. He would go on to run every single day for the next four years. He ran about seven miles daily for several years, while sharing his journey on his YouTube channel HellahGood.
Although his reason for starting such an adventure was to get past his fear of running, little did he know what an impact he would make on thousands of people following him on social media and those he would meet along the way.

“I just want you guys watching this to know that it doesn't matter when you start something… whatever you want to do in life... It's never too late. Just get out there and get that work in, no matter the circumstances!” once said Sidibe to his audience.
For the last stretch, he decided to run across the United States from Huntington Beach, California, to the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. He finished the 3,200 miles in 84 days on May 23, 2021.
In total, Sidibe ran for 1,469 days since the beginning of the challenge in 2017. And to mark this incredible achievement, he proposed to his girlfriend at the finish line.
“ I think this one is my most memorable next to my first year of running every day because I got to celebrate while running across America,“ Sidibe says on his Youtube channel.

Sidibe’s run across America benefited the nonprofit Soles4Souls, an organization that distributes new and used clothing and shoes around the world. Sidibe is now back to Rochelle Park, New Jersey where he resides.
