In celebration of Black History Month, Women of Rubies has announced the launch of a Media Pitch Challenge, inviting women founders, creatives, and changemakers to refine their stories and gain meaningful visibility.
All registered participants will receive a Media Pitch Workbook, access to a live group coaching session with visibility and content experts, storytelling guidance, and exposure to industry judges and media partners. Participants will submit short video pitches, with selected finalists invited to pitch live at the culminating event on 28 February 2026.
“Visibility is often the missing link between great work and real opportunity,” said Esther Ijewere, Founder of Women of Rubies. “This challenge is not about perfection. It’s about helping women articulate their stories clearly, be seen intentionally, and access platforms that can help amplify their impact.”
The winner of the Media Pitch Challenge will receive a premium media visibility package valued at $2,500, including featured articles and interviews across Women of Rubies and partner platforms, social media amplification, press support, and a one-on-one visibility strategy session. Partner platforms span digital publications, community media, and creator-led networks.
Taking place during Black History Month, the initiative is supported by a growing network of visibility, media, and community partners committed to amplifying women’s voices beyond the moment. Audaz Mag is proud to partner with and support this impactful initiative. Registration details are available at www.womenofrubies.com/mediapitch.
